Executive Director

Position Summary
St. Leonard, a Franciscan Living Community, has an exciting career opportunity to lead a team of dedicated employees on our campus in Centerville, OH. We strive to provide quality, comprehensive, and spiritually-enriching senior services. Our beautiful 240-acre campus features independent living, assisted living, dementia care, skilled nursing, and rehabilitation services for our residents as well as a community wellness center that encompasses a fitness center, day spa, and restaurant.

The Executive Director will lead strategic initiatives with innovative solutions that enrich the quality of residents’ lives and develop employee, community, and industry relationships. The Executive Director provides direction and oversight for overall operations including regulatory compliance, marketing, clinical, and financial control.

  • A Nursing Home Administrator license in the State of Ohio
  • A Master’s degree in Administration or related field
  • Ten years minimum experience in continuing care retirement community management

Community Liaison

Category: Full-Time

Position Summary
The Community Liaison advocates and promote our services to hospitals and other clinical settings, including physician offices. The purpose of this position is to ensure census goals are met within designated areas. To achieve these goals, the Community Liaison follows-up on all hospital referrals and evaluates proper placement within St. Leonard. The Community Liaison explains our services to patients, family members while identifying, developing, and maintaining referral sources.

Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or demonstrated equivalent experience and valid Ohio driver’s license and state minimum insurance coverage required. Five years sales experience, preferably in the healthcare industry, effective technical selling skills with a consultative approach, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and experience with basic computer software required. Previous clinical experience preferred.

Position Summary
Under the direct supervision of the nurse in charge, the State Tested Nursing Assistant performs basic nursing duties to provide for the comfort, safety, and hygiene needs of residents. The State Tested Nursing Assistant assists residents in maintaining and possibly increasing their level of independence whenever possible.

Requirements
State Tested Nursing Assistant by State of Ohio or eligible for reciprocity. Must be willing to complete the Certified Dementia Practitioner course. Qualified candidates must possess a genuine heart for the aging population and an appreciate of a faith based environment.

Registered Nurse / Licensed Practical Nurse

Position Summary
Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse is accountable for the delivery of safe and therapeutic resident care from admission through discharge in collaboration with the physician, family, and other members of the multi-disciplinary health care team. Delivery of quality nursing care is assured through utilization of the nursing process. Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse serves as a positive clinical role model for staff as well as a resource person and supports the philosophy, mission, and core values of St. Leonard.

Requirements

Station House Server

Position Summary
The Server provides table service to residents, guests, and staff in the Station House Restaurant. This position is part time with no late hour requirements.

Busser/Dishwasher

Position Summary
The Busser/Dishwasher ensures that tables, dishes, and silverware are clean and sanitary for the residents, staff and guests at the Station House restaurant. Additionally, this position requires light cooking and food preparation.

High School or GED preferred. Past experience in food service or health care preferred. Staff Development Nurse

Category: Part-Time

Position Summary
Working with the Staff Development Manager, the Staff Development Nurse assists with the administration of TB skin tests, Hepatitis B vaccines, and flu vaccines and assists with reminding employees who are due to complete their TB skin test or Sign and Symptoms form requirements. The Staff Development Nurse also tracks completion of mandatory in-services, flu vaccinations, and audits; assists with orientation; serves as the backup trainer for CPR and First Aid classes for employees; and completes exit interviews. Additionally, the Staff Development Nurse maintains the records of BBET, CPR, and First Aid certifications; assists with competencies for Nursing staff; completes paperwork for CPR and First Aid certifications; and provides other administrative support to the Staff Development Manager as needed.

Requirements
Current Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio with at least 4 years of experience. Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Ability to be flexible as schedule requirements dictate. Interim Dietetic Technician

Category: Full-Time Temporary

Position Summary
The Dietetic Technician is responsible for assessment and monitoring of the nutritional status of residents at the Health and Rehabilitation Center. This is a temporary position.

Requirements
Associate degree in Dietetics and registration with the American Dietetic Association required. Experience in a long-term care facility preferred. Qualified candidates must be committed to our wellness philosophy and Franciscan values and possess an engaging personality.

Wellness Assistant

Category: Part-Time

Position Summary
The Wellness Assistant provides individual and group activities appropriate to the needs and interests of each resident to promote well-being and quality of life. The Wellness Assistant may care for both adults and older adults. The Wellness Assistant’s essential duties include:

  • Assisting with and implementing activities for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Visiting room-bound residents one-on-one on a daily basis, or as needed.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of and complying with policies and procedures of infection control, OSHA, safety, state, and federal laws.

Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required. Completion of the Activity Professional 90-hour credit class preferred. Must be able to work every other weekend and holiday. Qualified candidates must be committed to our wellness philosophy and Franciscan values and possess an engaging personality.

Weekend Receptionist

Category: Part-Time

Position Summary
The Receptionist greets everyone who enters the Health & Rehabilitation Center, answers incoming calls, completes walking tours for prospective residents and family members, sorts mail for distribution, and assists other departments with paperwork as time allows.

Requirements
High school diploma or GED required. Must be able to work Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Qualified candidates must be committed to our wellness philosophy and Franciscan values and possess an engaging personality.

Station House Cook

Category: Full-Time

Position Summary
The Cook prepares and processes food at the Station House restaurant for the residents, staff and guests in compliance with all regulations.

Requirements
