STNA

Category: Full-Time and Part-Time

Position Summary Under the direct supervision of the nurse in charge, the State Tested Nursing Assistant performs basic nursing duties to provide for the comfort, safety, and hygiene needs of residents. The State Tested Nursing Assistant assists residents in maintaining and possibly increasing their level of independence whenever possible.

Requirements State Tested Nursing Assistant by State of Ohio or eligible for reciprocity. Must be willing to complete the Certified Dementia Practitioner course. Qualified candidates must possess a genuine heart for the aging population and an appreciate of a faith based environment.

Registered Nurse / Licensed Practical Nurse

Category: Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN

Position Summary Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse is accountable for the delivery of safe and therapeutic resident care from admission through discharge in collaboration with the physician, family, and other members of the multi-disciplinary health care team. Delivery of quality nursing care is assured through utilization of the nursing process. Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse serves as a positive clinical role model for staff as well as a resource person and supports the philosophy, mission, and core values of St. Leonard.

Dining Attendant

Position Summary The Dining Attendant provides table service to residents, guest, and staff.

Station House Server

Category: Full-Time

Position Summary The Server provides table service to residents, guests, and staff in the Station House Restaurant. This position is part time with no late hour requirements.

Station House Cook

Position Summary The Cook prepares and processes food at the Station House restaurant for the residents, staff and guests in compliance with all regulations.

Resident Assistant

Category: Part-Time

Position Summary Under the direct supervision of the nurse in charge, the Resident Assistant (RA) performs the basic nursing duties to provide for the comfort, safety and hygiene needs of Assisted Living residents. Weekend Receptionist

Category: Part-Time

Position Summary The Receptionist greets everyone who enters the Health and Rehabilitation Center, answers incoming calls, completes walking tours for prospective residents and family members, sorts mail for distribution, and assists other departments with paperwork as time allows.

Requirements High school diploma or GED required. Must be able to work Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Qualified candidates must be committed to our wellness philosophy and Franciscan values and possess an engaging personality.

Spiritual Care Manager

The Manager of Spiritual Care coordinates and manages the religious and spiritual care provided for all residents, families and staff members as needed.

Department: Mission Integration

Reports to: Director of Mission Integration

Requirements: Candidate Must be a Practicing Catholic in good standing.

Education: Formal preparation in educational techniques. Thorough background in philosophy, theology or other religious studies curriculum. Willingness to acquire at least two units of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE).

Experience: Experience in a healthcare position of a scope that included working with elders and participation in ethical decision-making.

Essential Job Specific Duties/Responsibilities

  1. Provides leadership to and works with the spiritual care team in planning events and programs for residents and employees.
  2. Oversees visitation of all residents and completes new resident assessments; primary focus, residents in the Health and Rehabilitation center.
  3. Is available for employee spiritual counseling when needed.
  4. Chairs the Ethics Committee.
  5. Coordinates weekly services for Catholic and Protestant residents in the main chapel and the Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Billing Specialist

We are looking for a Billing Specialist who has 5 or more years of experience with Medicare/Medicaid/Private Insurance in a long term care setting and is committed to providing exceptional customer service to residents, families, and the community in a faith-based senior services environment. Some of the duties of this position includes: account receivables, verification of completed admissions forms, contracts, and discharge of residents, assistance with addressing resident/family billing questions, prepares/delivers bank deposits, files for Medicaid benefits for residents, and maintains the resident trust accounts. Must have experience with Point Click Care.

Groundskeeper

Groundskeepers are required to perform all tasks required to maintain the grounds, gardens, walks and roads in a safe, appealing condition. All personnel are on-call for snow and ice removal in the winter. Two years experience preferred. Must have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record. Qualified candidates will possess a genuine heart for the aging population and appreciation of a faith based environment.
